We are completing on the purchase of this property this week and wil be looking for someone to start from the 23rd or soon after. The 4 external walls need damp proof course as well as some interioir wall on the ground floor. In order to compare with previous quotes will require full costs including and hacking off and re-plastering as well rubbish removal.

We don’t have a budget – Need quotes to give to the insurance. Original: Estimates required for water damage in 2 bed ground floor flat. Recent flood to every room from bathroom. Skirting boards damaged and damp and mould on walls. Skirting appears to be rotting in the kitchen and living room.

Damp in dounstairs lounge. Various wet patches part way down on internal wall plus damp patches on internal single brick wall at the side of the house.

He could have undertook the job anyway but explained that the issue was minor and didn’t require work.
